Netizens had mixed reactions after Jake Cuenca tried to pull a proposal prank on his girlfriend Kylie Verzosa.
Jake and Kylie have been together for two years now. Speculations surfaced that they are already living together. In an interview, the actress admitted that this is true. She shared that during the lockdown, she and Jake started living in one house.
With this, the anticipation that they would tie the knot soon is inevitable. Apparently, this was the anticipation of their fellow celebrities as well when Jake Cuenca shared this supposed proposal video.
Jake recently shared a video of Kylie standing at the center of a romantic dinner setup, which was decorated with heart-shaped lights, at a resort in El Nido, Palawan.
The actor, who was the one filming the beauty queen-turned-actress, said in the video, “So, I prepared this because I just wanted to ask you one thing.”
Kylie then gasped in shock as she waited for what Jake was going to ask her.
“So here it goes…” Jake said, keeping the suspense going, while Kylie wore an excited expression.
“Kumain ka na ba?”Jake finally dropped the question which changed the look on Kylie’s face and then they both burst out laughing.
Kylie appeared to be on the brink of crying but then laughed. “You love it, Boo?” the actor asked and his girlfriend said answered, “Super! Except you. Wow.”
Several celebrities commented on this with the anticipation that Jake would pop up the question as they expected that it was already a proposal.
Many netizens commented that that was a bad joke and that Kylie Verzosa does not deserve that although there were those who said that the couple looks cute.
