Actress Aubrey Miles revealed that her wedding with her long-time partner, actor Troy Montero got canceled due to the pandemic.
This Miles, shared in her interview with TV host Toni Gonzaga for the online show “I Feel U”.
Gonzaga asked Miles if she and Troy Montero had wedding plans since they had been partners for so long.
“This one ‘di namin na-share to. It’s so weird. We were planning talaga this year. As in ngayon ko lang sasabihin sa inyo ‘to, sa inyo lang, na we actually booked and meron na. I don’t wanna share [the details] pero meron na. May date na and everything,” Miles revealed.
Everything was planned already — the date, venue, hotel, and attendees. But the onslaught of the pandemic led the couple to cancel it.
Miles said they wanted an “intimate” wedding where people would have to fly to the venue.
Asked if they will rebook the wedding, Miles said, “Oo, parang lahat nga eh, nag-cancel na, nag-rebook, nag-refund tapos i-hold na lang lahat. You know what, may time talaga.”
But despite of the things that cancelled their big day, the actress refuses to consider it as a “bad omen”
“Sabi ko nga it’s not even the sign na sabi nila, ‘O, baka iyong sign na hindi pa talaga.’ Sabi ko ‘No, hindi naman sign ‘to. Talagang it’s the pandemic.’ So we’ll do it, we’ll do it,” she said.
With a Christmas tree gloriously set up at one corner of her house, Aubrey Miles said the smell of yuletide makes her happy. And it was easy to see that she’s being honest. She glowed with bliss while talking about motherhood, love, and fitness in the said interview.
