Kris Aquino is finally ending her showbiz hiatus.
Kris Aquino has ended her break from the limelight as she announced last Tuesday inking a contract with the talent management firm Cornerstone days after hinting at a “new chapter” in her life.
In the caption, Kris, who is known for not holding back on details about her life, said that her friend, lawyer Gideon Peña reminded her of the confidentiality clauses in her contract “so for now, it’s just this video.”
“I am allowed to thank my Cornerstone family for their patience and perseverance; thank you to NEW partners for their vote of confidence;” she said.
She also expressed her gratitude to her fans for helping her pray for the “moment to finally arrive.” Aquino’s renewed ties with the talent management company comes a week after she hinted at a “next chapter” in her life.
“To all of you who have been patiently waiting, and also praying with & for me- malapit na (it will be soon). THANK YOU for also not giving up,” she said on her Twitter page at the time.
Aquino, 49, had been on a two-year hiatus from showbiz.
Aquino had set conditions before a possible comeback on national television. In response to a fan asking for an update of her comeback, Aquino said that she needs to ask for a medical clearance due to her autoimmune issues.
“I still need a medical clearance because of my autoimmune issues.I’m leaving everything as part of God’s plans for my life,” she said.
Even on hiatus, however, Kris always able to draw public attention whether from posts about her illness or her love life.
