Do you still remember Spencer Reyes? He is the former frontline of all boys group, Streetboys.
Spencer was used to be one of those celebrities who had the girls screaming out of kilig. He has this charismatic dance grooves.
However, despite his fame and success, Spencer decided to migrate in the United Kingdom.
According to Spencer, he went to England in 2008 and studied Nursing.
In 2014, he moved to Scotland together with his wife and three children.
He studied Electrical Engineering, Heating, and Plumbing in a vocational school there.
After that, he applied as a bus driver.
It turns out that being a bus driver in Scotland is such a high profession there. As per Spencer, he went through a tough time before he became a bus driver.
“Napakahirap pumasok as bus driver.
“You need to do some examinations. Kasi, may license dito sa kotse.
“Pag pumasa ka doon, merong tinatawag nilang Theory and Hazard.
“Pag pumasa ka doon, magsi-celebrate ka talaga.
“Kasi, aaral ka talaga ng makapal na libro.Then, nagka-idea ako… nagpasa ako as bus driver, hindi agad ako kinuha. Kailangan kumuha ako ng another license for bus.”
He studied again for six months.
Spencer is a bus driver for almost two years now where he drives the tour bus.
As of now, Scotland is under lockdown due to the higher cases of the virus. So he works as a driver for those frontliners who need to get to work.
Spencer picks up and drops off the nurses in the heir hospitals.
He shared that he also wears heavy PPEs every time he rides the bus. But they also make sure that the bus is being sanitized every now and then.
Spencer also revealed that his co-member Michael Sesmundo is also there in Scotland with him.
Michael’s wife is the sister of Spencer’s other half.
The former Streetboys member also shared that he has his own YouTube channel where he uploads videos of him dancing.
Meanwhile, Spencer mentioned his former on-screen partner Ice Suguerra. He said that he loved Ice as a friend but he developed feelings.
However, he had to stop because he knows the latter’s gender preference.
