Have you ever met the voice behind the Kapamilya network’s commercials? If you are a fan of the network, it’s pretty sure that you are familiar with his voice.
This iconic voice of ABS-CBN is none other than Peter Musngi. He has been the voice of the Kapamilya network for almost two decades now.
Peter has been doing the trailer voices of films, telerseryes, and shows in the network and he has been considered as the “golden voice” of channel 2.
It would be impossible for everyone to not recognize his voice when heard on television and on the radio.
Peter is a product of the University of the East. His career started when one of his friends invited him to go with her in an audition.
He passed the audition and first broadcast in DZYM-FM or known as MOR 101.9 today.
The iconic Peter Musngi became a disc jockey in different stations for 15 years.
Until he discovered his true destiny when he was hired to be the announcer of different commercials in ABS-CBN. He was then promoted in different high positions.
Peter gained the praises and respect of many people from his working station.
He became the manager of DZMM and DWRR from 1988 to 1994.
He proceeded to be the president of Manila Radio from 1994 to 1997; became the vice president of Skycable from 1997 to 1998.
In 1998, Musngi became the assistant vice president of ABS-CBN Sports until 2002.
However, despite his success in his career, Peter still chose to work behind the camera.
Indeed, Peter Musngi has the iconic voice of Philippine television.
