Angel Locsin talks about regrets for supporting Sen. Koko Pimentel before during the campaign period.
When it comes to the Philippine campaign for election, most of the running officials have their popular personality to endorse them.
It has been a long before the strategy of the running senators or mayors to gain most of the votes.
And one of the artists who endorsed someone during the campaign advertisement is Angel Locsin.
Apparently, Koko Pimentel is running for the senatorial place back in 2007 and Angel is one of her supporters and endorsed him in television ads.
And now it seems like the table has turned.
In a tweet reporting the quarantine breach of the senator, Angel commented tagging Cat Arambulo.
She jokingly looked for Cat Arambulo who was recently in boiling waters after her harsh comment to Filipinos who can’t stay at home.
“Calling @catarambulo_com where are youuuu?” Locsin wrote with heart emojis
Following this, one netizen bravely asked Angel if she regrets endorsing the senator in a TV ad.
The actress replied that she totally regret it and even described it as a mortal sin. Angel even said sorry for doing so.
She also added that she only had to because Koko was her cousin’s ex-husband.
“Yes. Super,” she answered one follower, who asked whether she now regrets campaigning for him. “Mortal sin. Patawarin niyo po ako bilang ex-husband po siya ng pinsan ko.”
Angel is referring to beauty queen Jewel Lobato.
“With Koko Pimentel naman, first cousin ko yung wife niya, si Jewel. At hindi naman ako sumisingil. Lahat ng ginawa ko para sa mga ads, for the love yun talaga. Meron din akong tinutulungan na first time lang tatakbo, pero hindi ko na sasabihin ang pangalan,” says Angel before.
When another netizen asked her to promise not to endorse Koko Pimentel again, Angel hilariously responded that there have been many elections that she didn’t.
“Naka-ilang eleksyon na rin naman pong hindi naulit.”
Recently, the official page of Makati Medical Center posted denouncing breach of protocols regarding Sen. Koko Pimentel.
He was reportedly tested positive for the C0VID-19 but still personally brought his wife to the Makati Medical Center Delivery Room Complex on March 24.
With this, he put the medical workers of MMC at risk for the possibility to spread the virus.
The private hospital needed to close and disinfect the facility. Aside from this, MMC also added that they had to put their medical workers in quarantine.
