Sandy Andolong gave an update about husband Christopher de Leon condition

Veteran actor Christopher de Leon admitted to having tested positive for the outbreak disease.

Amid this health crisis, not only in the Philippines but also in several parts of the world, the infected people came from different walks of life. There were celebrities, athletes, government officials, and ordinary citizens who already tested positive.

In a Facebook post, De Leon clarified that he did not recently travel to countries with confirmed C0VID-19 cases.

“I’ve had no recent travel history outside of the Philippines and no known contact with anyone who is positive to have the virus,” he said.

He also advised those who have contact with him to undergo self-quarantine.

“In this time of trial, we ask for your prayers and we continue to praise and thank the Lord for His goodness in our lives,” the actor said. Following this, his co-stars in the Kapamilya drama series Love Thy Woman also took necessary precautions.

Days after, Sandy Andolong, Christopher’s wife gave an update about his condition.

Sandy, shared that the actor is fine now. “Okay na okay siya,” the actress shared.

“Wala nang ibang symptoms, sipon lang. In fact, hindi worried ang mga doktor sa kanya kasi mukhang malakas siya,” she added. Sandy also said that they are not panicking amid the health condition of her husband. “Kalma lang, hindi kami nagpa-panic. Malakas ang pananampalataya namin sa Panginoon,” Sandy also said.

Furthermore, the actress even gave a word of advice regarding the outbreak, “Sundin nila yung advice ng gobyerno at DOH. Stay at home, stay healthy, and don’t panic.”

For now Sandy also underwent self-quarantine in their home including their daughter Mica and their house helper.

Christopher is believed to be the first Filipino star to have admitted to having tested positive for C0VID-19.
