The essence of humanity and the kindness of the people are extremely felt and seen during an unexpected force of nature and sad incidents.
Although somehow we can see it all the time in different parts of the world, in different instances. Filipinos are known for having a good heart and love for his countrymen.
This “Bayahanihan” attitude of the Filipinos is widely seen this time after the famous Taal Volcano erupted last January 12.
People all over the country, especially the cities nearby exerted effort to help those people in Batangas who suffered. Some of us went to Batangas to personally give their help, others offered prayers as well.
However, there are more who are willing to help even they are located a thousand miles away from them.
Just like the former PBB housemate, a Japanese vlogger Fumiya Sankai who extended his helping hand from Japan to Batangas.
Fumiya is known for having a big heart for the Filipino people since entering the PBB house.
According to him, he heard the news about the eruption of Taal Volcano in Batangas.
He also learned that face mask which is extremely needed had already run out in many stores.
This event prompted him to purchase face masks in Japan and shipped them to the Philippines to donate for the victims.
On Twitter, he also wrote a message for the Filipinos.
“After seeing the news that a Philippine volcano erupted, I learned on Twitter that a mask is not available anywhere in Manila, I have only this much I can do in Japan right now, but sent a Japanese mask to the Philippines May the Philippines be safer
— Fumiya Sankai 三海フミヤ (@fumfumfum3) January 13, 2020
This good deed also posted on his Youtube account and video shows how he packed the face masks to be sent in the country.
