A woman named Annalaine Revilla sought the help of Raffy Tulfo on December 2, 2019. She said she is a former personal assistant of an uprising teen star.
Revilla wanted to file several complaints to her former employer.
Tulfo refused to name the teen star in his program “Wanted sa Radyo,” which is streamed live Mondays to Fridays on his YouTube account named Raffy Tulfo in Action.
According to Revilla, she refers to the teen star as Manika, the Filipino word for the actress’s name.
According to Revilla, “Manika” employed her as a personal assistant. But the workload given to her did not seem to meet their agreement. She served more than that as she also functioned as a maid for the actress’s mother and brother.
To make matters worse, Annalaine claimed that the young actress compensated all her efforts with a measly amount of 7,000 pesos. The monthly salary she’s receiving is actually way lower than minimum wage in Metro Manila.
Revilla also wanted to file cyber libel related cases against “Manika”. In her story, she alleged that the actress accused her of stealing.
While the teen star was not directly named on “Wanted sa Radyo,” a lot of clues helped the netizens guess that she is Barbie Imperial. Tulfo said he had already talked to the young actress via phone prior to the program.
To settle their issues, they were given space and time to mend things in between them privately. They all agreed that the young actress will pay her enough for her work.
The PA shared regarding to what they have privately talked about,
“About dun sa mga ginawa niya. Hindi pa naman kami nag-uusap pa yung talagang settled down talaga na nakakapag-sorryhan na pero parang pina-realize ko sa kanya na sana ako na ang last na tao na gagawan nila ng ganun.”
Also, Tulfo mentioned that the teen star is being managed by Star Magic. Barbie is currently under the training and management subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corporation.
The “Wanted sa Radyo” host went on to say that the teen star is featured in a calendar. Imperial is the 2020 calendar girl of the Filipino rum brand Tanduay.
