Melason is the love team of Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco which bloomed inside the Pinoy Big Brother house that brought so much “kilig” to a lot of its viewers.
And their romance in the reality show went all the way to being husband and wife. The show became their way to find each other. They now have two daughters, Stella and Mela, and they are now planning to have a baby boy once their YouTube channel hits one million subscribers.
In an episode of the ABS-CBN program “Magandang Buhay”, the couple looked back at their fun and exciting journey as Melason.
They bravely opened up about why they got back together after deciding to go their separate ways for 6 months.
According to Jason, the time they had away from each other made them stronger and fight for their relationship for the kids.
“Naging mas matatag lang din kami. E buti na lang din nandiyan ang mga bata kasi sila talaga ang nagdikit ulit sa amin. Yung mga bata, kung wala talaga yan ang dali na magdesisyon eh.”
“Pag may mga bata sila talaga iisipin natin para maayos ulit lahat.”
Melai revealed her husband’s efforts to fix their relationship.
“Naappreciate ko din naman si Jason kasi noong shakey na kami tumawag siya ng pastor at relationship coach.”
The morning show host also shared how communication helped them make their relationship work after the break-up.
“Pag nag-44way kami dati talagang bulyawan. Ngayon naging open minded kami sa isa’t isa.”
“Lagi namin sinasabi na ang goal natin dito magkaayos, hindi mas gumulo.”
Collectively known as Melason, Cantiveros and Francisco rose to fame after becoming part of the hit reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother”. The two tied the knot on December 9, 2013
In 2016, the couple addressed breakup rumors, saying that nothing can separate their family.
