For 41 years, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta dedicated her life on her showbiz and her fans. The 53-year old award-winning actress/singer had been sharing her life with the public. Just like other celebrities, having a private life is not that easy.
the Megastar had been working non-stop in order to bring happiness and entertainment to all her supporters and the people who believe in her talent. She had numerous films and other projects that made a mark and contributed so much in the industry.
She continues to make her own craft and there was never a single project from the actress/singer that made some people disappointed. Her last film was the 2018 film is entitled “Three Words To Forever” with Kathryn Bernardo and Richard Gomez.
However, the Megastar shared something on Instagram that made the Sharonians deeply sadden.
“Since last year l have seriously been thinking of semi-retiring. I am so very tired. It has been 41 years of work, work, work for me, and at some point, kailangan na rin sabihin sa sarili na ‘tama na.’”
She further added that perhaps making a concert once in a while or doing a movie that will be worth it will not be bad. But for now, she just wants rest and tells herself it will all be alright. She addressed her fans, the Sharonians, not to be sad if she decides to semi-retire as she already had enough.
The Megastar stated: “I love you all so much, and I will try my very best to give you the best of me before I say goodbye.” She also clarified that she’s been thinking about this since last year and this is not about her daughter Frankie Pangilinan being away from her.”
She added, “Di naman siguro ako biglang forever na mawawala…pero konting-konti na lang siguro ang kakayanin kong ibigay until magpahinga na ako at i- enjoy naman ang tinatawag na private life na alam ng karamihan pero tungkol saan kokonti lang ang alam ko…”
